Fall 2017 Workshop Series
Held at the nursery and hosted by our general manager, Peter Bieneman, these free events are a great chance to dive a little deeper into specific topics of interest in the home and garden. We encourage all of our customers and community to attend. Please RSVP online or by phone as seats are limited.
I. Edible Planters – September 16, 10 am
Rejuvenate your tired summer planters with fabulous combinations of fall flowers and edible plants. Pete will discuss pot and plant selection and new ideas to continue the harvest to create planters that are both practical and pleasing.
II. Colorful Fall Plants – September 30, 10 am
Our most popular program! Explore the nursery as Pete highlights selections that show off spectacular fall color. The focus will be on beautiful foliage, flowers and berries. 30 minutes.
III. Bulbs to Delight Next Spring – October 14, 10 am
With a little planning this fall, you can enjoy a spectacular display next spring. We will offer suggestions for great bulb combinations and discuss soil prep, placement, and maintenance. You will be happy you took the time now for a colorful spring!
IV. Fall Landscape Design – October 21, 10 am
Fall is for planting! Cool temperatures and adequate moisture make this a great time to tweak your landscape or plan a new garden. Our designers will discuss the best picks in trees, shrubs, and perennials, focusing on how to use them effectively. Limit 10.
