Drift Groundcover Roses are the perfect rose for small landscapes, containers, and of course drifts! Big or small yards, these versatile and colorful plants will be a star during the hot summer months. Drifts, as the series is called, were developed to be hardy, disease resistant and low growing. A cross between miniature and large groundcover roses they exhibit the best qualities of both. We liken their hardiness to the Knockout series but smaller.
We are big fans of the entire series- all 8! We especially love the Peach and Popcorn Drift. Peach drift is a super bloomer that will show its unique color from spring to fall. Popcorn has a yellow bud that opens to a white flower. It makes a stunning bicolor addition. These roses will mature to 1-3’ high and wide. We recommend dead heading and fertilizing weekly to maintain a fresh look. Blooms begin in spring and continue reliably until frost. The plant has a graceful habit if left unpruned.
We have several varieties of Drift Roses in stock now for fall planting so stop by the nursery and have a look or give us a call for size and color availability.
